Ballet classes for kids in Budapest, District XI, from age 4. At Grand Art Ballet, children learn the foundations of classical ballet, explore rhythm and music, and practise choreography in groups suited to their age.

Preschool ballet and school-age groups

Our children’s ballet groups are organised for ages 4–6, 7–8, 9–10 and 11+. Classes include exercises for coordination, balance, rhythm and body awareness. Learning dance also gives children opportunities to practise concentration, work together and develop confidence with familiar movements.

Before your child’s first ballet class

Check the age-group timetable and prices below, register your child and book a session in advance. Our studio is at 1116 Budapest, Építész utca 8–12. If you need help choosing a group based on age or previous experience, email info@grandartballet.com. A separate beginner ballet class for teenagers is also listed in the timetable.

Can children join without speaking Hungarian?

Children’s classes are taught mainly in Hungarian. Our teachers speak both Hungarian and English and can explain the exercises in English to a child who does not yet speak Hungarian.
